What is rustic contemporary style?
Rustic contemporary design is a blend of modern and contemporary features in a rustic, log cabin, older or farmhouse style home. The result is a warm and inviting home with modern amenities, conveniences, furnishings and materials.
The full service agency, founded in 1989 by Leo Marmol and Ron Radziner, has created award-profitable modern interior design masterpieces in New Zealand, Arizona and California to name just a few places. With its residential tasks, it goals to “design homes to absorb tales of 100 years” focusing on the relationship between the client and the space to create a wonderfully tailor-made setting. Materials that age properly, corresponding to concrete, wooden and pure stone, are a resolute favorite with the agency as is creating fluidity between indoor and outside design.
Chintz curtains and swagged pelmets may even match decorative wallpaper patterns. Antique accessories are used to add a touch of vintage flair and potted crops are positioned liberally throughout the house on windowsills and mantels.
Fabrics and wallpaper feature a toile design, which was popular during the colonial era. Furniture is handmade and impressed by the early American frontier. Each table and chair goes via a customized-made course of in which intricate carvings and design components like prospers are imprinted. Woods sometimes used to assemble furnishings consists of maple, elm, hickory and cherry. Brass knobs and handles are added to cupboards, drawers and armoires for an added contact of sophistication.
